At VETTA Bike Components, we believe in cycling – and in the people who live and breathe it. That’s why we do our best to support athletes who give their all on local and international racecourses, and who, with every kilometer, contribute to the growth of the mountain biking community.
Maša Komel and Miha Jerkič are a young couple racing in downhill and enduro under the banner of the 427 Savage Squad. They’re dedicated, focused, and always ready for new challenges. Within this team, we also support young racer Max Sliško, as we believe in the energy and approach of the entire crew – 427 Savage Squad isn’t just a team; it’s a mindset that brings people together on and off the trails.

We also have a representative in the Black Thorn team. Lenart Sever competes in Enduro and is an essential part of the younger racing scene. With its history, tradition, and commitment, Black Thorn is one of the key players in Slovenian mountain biking – and we’re proud to work with them.

In the gravel world, we’re represented by one of Slovenia’s top influencers – Neža Marinič – who is active in marathons, including the Franja Marathon, and regularly conquers long distances on gravel routes. Her presence at cycling events and in the digital space inspires many recreational riders to move and explore.

We’re also proud to work with TCS Gravity, a club making its mark with an active presence in Downhill and Enduro races. Their athletes are dedicated and always up for a challenge – we’re proud to be part of their story.

And finally, our latest pride – athlete Nežka Libnik, who has been dominating the Slovenian scene in recent seasons. She’s the Enduro national champion for 2022, 2023, and 2024, a regular winner in domestic Downhill races, and recently celebrated a victory at an EDR race in Poland. Her performances are bold, her results consistent, and her approach both professional and humble.

These athletes come from different teams, disciplines, and backgrounds—but they share one thing in common: our support with Galfer brake pads and rotors, delivering reliable braking power when it matters most.
With them, we grow, we learn, and we keep moving forward—with a clear goal: to support those who drive cycling forward.
