The Ripley V5 preserves the lively character of its predecessors but upgrades it with a range of technical improvements that place it at the very top of trail bikes. Now with the option of choosing between 29-inch or MX (29”/27.5”) wheels, internal storage, and even more progressive geometry, the Ripley is ready for everything – from daily rides to demanding technical trails. With 130 mm of rear travel combined with 140 mm up front and efficient DW-Link suspension, it remains fast, playful, and reliable on all terrain.
The bike’s geometry is fully adapted to each individual size – from seat tube angle to chainstay length and bottom bracket height. A new addition is the “extra-medium” size (size 3), which fills the gap among the most common rider heights. This way, no matter your build, you will find the optimal position and perfect balance between handling and comfort.
DW-Link suspension remains the foundation of the Ripley’s performance – efficient with every pedal stroke, yet remarkably calm on fast descents and repeated hits. The kinematics are specific to each size, so pedaling efficiency is equally strong for both shorter and taller riders.
The internal storage compartment in the downtube lets you stow tools, snacks, or spare parts directly inside the frame – no need for backpacks or extra bags. The closure system works smoothly even in mud and cold, with gloves on. The included bags, made in collaboration with the sustainable brand Cotopaxi, are colorful, durable, and crafted from recycled materials – each one is unique.
The frame is built from premium carbon fiber and features fully internal cable routing, rubberized protectors on the downtube and chainstay, and additional guards for quiet, worry-free riding.
Like all Ibis bikes, the Ripley V5 comes with a lifetime warranty – if something goes wrong due to our fault, we will fix it without questions asked.
